Background: Brain Racers is building the world’s first massive multiplayer cognitive game as a platform to turn brain athletes into superstars. The team created a brand ambassador program called the “Brain Squad” to acquire partnerships and bring on new, highly engaged users. They needed to come up with a way of educating new or aspiring brand ambassadors about the benefits of the program, the goals, and about recommended ways of reaching the goals. There were two major objectives that I was being asked to balance with this project. One objective was to make the content appealing and attractive to new potential ambassadors and another was to provide a job aid for ambassadors that had already signed on.
Solution: I decided the best way to convey the information was through an infographic that would live on the Brain Racers website. I chose this avenue because the content needed to remain fairly high-level and was meant to be more of an overview that could be referenced when needed, rather than a deep-dive.
Results: The stakeholders were very pleased with the final result and used the infographic as part of the new ambassador onboarding program. New members were 40% more likely to meet their goals after receiving this job aid. Marketing also utilized this infographic as step one for new ambassador leads, with conversion rates improving by 30%.
